@AlbinusFalco @FrDesposito Thus in the question of the acceptance, there is a twofold aspect: it can be a dogmatic fact only in virtue of the ACTIVE infallibility; but it is also true that the whole Church could not follow a false rule of faith in virtue of the PASSIVE infallibility.

@AlbinusFalco @FrDesposito 2) The Passive infallibility of the Church (or in credendo) garanties that the all the Catholics will not loose the faith and fall in heresy (but obviously a great number could, that is the point of the Great Apostasy). Basically the Church will perdure until the end.
